Billy the Kid wins Best Documentary at Edinburgh International Film Festival
Billy the Kid had a great run at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, winning the Jury Prize for Best Documentary.

I don't normally write emails to filmmakers, but I loved Billy the Kid so much I felt I had to.
I've been a movie fanatic for as long as I can remember and it's very rare to see something as extraordinary as your film. What a treat and privilege it is to share briefly in Billy's life. I can't think of another film that so simply and amusingly captures the awkwardness, fear and excitement of first love. It was the best thing in the whole festival.
You've made a beautiful documentary. Thanks!
