I attended the screening here in Austin last night and fell in love with the film, and with Billy and his mom, Penny....Thank you, jennifer, for finding him and sharing him with the rest of us.

I also attended the Austin SXSW screening, as well as the after-party. The film was very touching, respectful, and insightful. And it was a pleasure to meet the filmakers, as well as the star himself. Billy, your DJ skills are top notch! It was an honor to hang out with you at the party. Good luck in the future. You're a great person.

I also vote in favor of removing the afterword, about the Asperger's diagnosis. I think the film stands on it's own as a brilliant portrait of this young person, and does not need a textual afterward.

I love this film! I was already somewhat familiar with Billy because I had already seen Bug Crush in which he acted. But this film was very interesting and really shed a lot of light on this very unique individual. The film is very well made and I am so glad I got a chance to see it.

I also saw this film at SXSW on it's opening night. As a highschool student, or even more so as a person, I absolutely loved Billy the Kid for showing that everyone wants the same basic things in a way that's honest and impossible to ignore. When Jennifer Venditti spoke about Billy after the film I fell in love with him even more and completely admire who he is. I am very inspired by Billy the Kid to not only make the films that I think are important, but to be the person I want to be. Thank you.

P.S. Also, I know she spoke about taking the part about Billy's aspergers diagnosis at the end, and my vote is for leaving the film without it.
